Antonio Cordero, LPC

Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)

Have you focused so hard on achieving success, that you neglect to examine your own needs? Do you recognize that trauma from your childhood still impacts how you engage with the world today? Are you seeking a therapeutic space that acknowledges you as a whole, complex person while you work towards your goals? As your therapist, I feel passionate about empowering you with tools to live a full, cognizant, and rewarding life.

As a Boston University counseling graduate with a specialization in Sport Psychology, I work with clients committed to both well-being and performance optimization. My background as a Costa Rican enables me to provide bilingual therapy in Spanish, English, or both in a culturally-informed approach that integrates an awareness of the immigrant and first generation experience. My extensive training in Brainspotting for trauma, CBT, DBT, and Polyvagal Theory shows up in my work; I do evidenced-based therapy with clients across a broad range of identities from athletes to performers to executives who all share a commitment to thriving in their personal and professional spheres. I work with individuals, couples, and families experiencing challenges with performance, trauma, addiction, mood, and anxiety.

In our therapeutic work, we will develop an authentic relationship that balances challenges and support as we establish a collaborative partnership tailored to your goals and needs. We will explore concerns related to guilt, shame, rejection, fear, and relationships. I will work hard at building flexible, comfortable, and intentional plans of action to support, guide, and encourage you as you pursue your unique therapeutic goals. Reach out to schedule a free, 15-minute consultation to gauge if we will be a good fit to work together. We all have a story, and I look forward to the privilege of hearing yours.
